DESCRIPTION

A component of a hydraulic system known as a air header manifold, a valve manifold may have one or more valves that have the ability to either block or isolate the system depending on the situation. This part of the hydraulic system is sometimes referred to by its other name, the valve manifold. A valve manifold may be constructed using a variety of different kinds of valves, including ball, needle, bleed, and vent valves, among others. There are also many more kinds of valves that may be employed.

A block and bleed system that takes the form of a manifold valve and is located within the system prevents the fluid from the components that are further upstream from coming into contact with the fluid from the components that are further downstream by dividing the flow of fluid within the system. This is accomplished by dividing the flow of fluid within the system. Because of this, the fluids that come from the two different sets of components are prevented from coming into touch with one another.
